Oldsmar

The City and Chamber are working together to renovate the downtown area while preserving the "old Florida look and feel". You'll find residential developments and master-planned communities in the north and west sections of Oldsmar. These neighborhoods offer amenities such as golf and country clubs, swimming pools, tennis courts and more. Several parks and nature preserves span throughout Oldsmar providing recreational outlets for residents of all ages.

East Lake

Just northwest of Oldsmar, one of the area's newest communities of East Lake is home to top-quality residential areas. The community encompasses plenty of green acres almost half of which are natural preserves.

NW Hillsborough

Several well designed, higher end residential communities are found in Northwest Hillsborough. While the area is only 15 miles from downtown Tampa, NW Hillsborough has two of the least populated zip codes in Hillsborough County and is one of its wealthiest communities. Town Centers are the newest trend for lifestyle in NW Hillsborough. These communities provide a mix of retail shops and cafes intermingled with town homes and villas.

Town ‘N Country

Town ‘N Country is at the doorstep of redevelopment with great plans for its future. Plans for the first new "town" center are in progress and will include a new public library, senior center, meeting space and more quasi-governmental offices. Other plans include beautifying roadways, expanding public transit, improving sidewalks, bike and trail connectivity and overall improvements to the area's infrastructure.

Outdoors in Upper Tampa Bay

A host of parks speckle the Upper Tampa Bay area communities. Nature lovers find John Chesnut Park a wonderful place to take in the natural beauty or pick up the Pinellas Trail that meanders throughout Pinellas County. Kids love Cypress Forest Spray Park located in Oldsmar. This park is set amidst a wildlife preserve and offers a 1500-foot arena of aquatic fun. R.E. Olds Park is the hot spot for the City of Oldsmar and the Upper Tampa Bay Regional Chamber's annual Oldsmar Days celebration, which includes three days of live music, fine foods, a full carnival and a parade. Canal Park is a 37-acre state-of-the-art sports complex where dozens of sports leagues battle it out. Racing fans frequent Canal Park's new, cutting edge BMX bike racing track during the busy BMX season. More parks and trails can be found in the area.
